Expo Information: - Quilting, Stitches and Crafts Expo Reno, NV - May 28 - 30, 2009
Workshops begin on Wednesday May 27th at the Grand Sierra Resort Conference and Exhibition Center 2500 East Second Street, Reno Nevada.

Sue Hausmann, Hostess of America Sews & Quilts, will be at the Reno Expo on Friday May 29, 2009 and will be teaching 2 seminars during the day and a special presentation “Special Evening with Sue Hausmann” on Friday evening.

About the Expo:  The Expo is going full steam ahead with quality vendors from all across the United States offering the latest products, ideas and solutions available today.

Creative Girlfriends Productions have added, NEW and Exciting features and venues for the attendee’s enjoyment that include, quilt and doll displays, quilt contest, and the charity event, LoveQuilt Connection, and a wonderful variety of classes by nationally known educators, fashions shows, free creative venues, and so much more.

In the Spotlight:  In the Spotlight class sessions will be offered throughout the day beginning at 8:00 AM until 6:30 PM on Wednesday May 27th prior to the Expo opening. Class sessions are 15 or 30 minutes in length.

The concept for the “In the Spotlight” is to introduce the attendees to new products and techniques. They will be given a special handout the morning of “In the Spotlight”, that provides a schedule of the sessions to choose from, and a listing of the participating educators/companies. In class, attendees will receive savings coupons to redeem at the vendor booths during the Expo. They will be automatically entered into a special drawing, only for those attending the Pre-Expo classes. The cost of this special day is only $20.00 and is good for any/or all class sessions throughout the day.

Children’s Fashion Show:  For the first time in Reno, the Quilting, Stitches and Crafts Expo is sponsoring a children’s fashion show, entitled "Learning to Sew with Sew Stitches". A fun event featuring up and coming “Fashionistas”!

Fabric Challenge:  The Expo will feature the Creative Girlfriends Pop Daisy Fabric Challenge. The applicant will be using 5 different fabrics from designer Heather Bailey's newest line of fabric.
