Susie Blades presents “Quilter’s FabriCalc” training

Quilter’s FabriCalc was designed for you, the quilter by a quilter, as a tool to help make your quilting experience easier.  Susie Blades, the quilter behind the Quilter’s FabriCalc says “I know a User Guide for any product can be over whelming”.

Susie was a former shop owner before moving to Nevada in 1992.  You might remember her from Laurill’s Fabric in Gardnerville and The Quilt Stop in Sparks where she worked before going to Calculated Industries.  She knew from the beginning that quilters needed a specialty calculator made in their language, “Quilting”, and that is how the calculator was born.

So if you’re over whelmed or not sure you can even use the Quilter’s FabriCalc check out the Beginning/Intermediate classes starting in October.  And for the quilter that has mastered the basics or wants to try her hand a designing, check out our Advanced/Design class in January 2009.  Come join us and take the fear out of math and your calculator.

Saturday October 25Th – 2:00 - 4:00 PM - Over whelmed or not sure you can even use the Quilter’s FabriCalc, sign up for the Beginning class on getting the basics down and more!

Thursday November 20Th – 6:00 - 8:00 PM – Beginning/Intermediate Quilter’s FabriCalc - Second chance to improve your skills with the Quilter’s FabriCalc, review what you have learned or come join us if you missed the first class! Saturday January 10Th, 2:00 - 4:00 PM – Advanced class – Designing with the Quilter’s FabriCalc. As a seamstress Susie never liked to just copy a pattern.  This same desire followed her into quilting.  Come learn how to take a table runner and turn it into a quilt of your own design. Learn graphing techniques and brush up on Coloring 101.

Pre-registration required and seats are limited.  Three class course $60.00 or $25.00 each.  We can now all learn how to save money on our fabric purchases.  This class will pay for itself in accurate purchases and never having to find "just another quarter yard" of this or that hard to find fabric. Call 775-825-6677 for more information.
