Sewing is making a comeback
There is a change or something in the air and it is not all smoke.  I have observed that with the change in the climate, and I don’t just mean temperature, people are definitely re- examining their family time.  Sewing and cooking, home improvements to backyard gardens are making a comeback.  Why?  Family time and creative ways to entertain the family are new alternatives to the high price of travel, eating out and endless shopping. 

Recently featured on the news was a story on how consignment stores are becoming all the rage and these clothes are being redesigned, embellished and being turned into works of expression.  Here at Sew-n-Such we are adding beginning sewing classes on demand as groups of young people are wishing to learn how to use a sewing machines.  An art that their mothers are not familiar with enough to teach them about is being requested by a younger group of people her in Reno.  If you would like to contact the store to request and created a special project or class for a group or event, birthday or club, contact the store at 825-6677 with your plans and we will be glad to help you with idea.
