Bobbin work - Kathie Dzuirda
Have you ever wanted to use a special thread in your machine, but it was too heavy for a needle? Come learn the technique of bobbin work. We will learn to adjust the bobbin case tension to accommodate heavy threads and use both free motion and preprogrammed stitches to create wonderful and unusual effects. Extra bobbin case is recommended but not required. We will also explore bobbin work using your embroidery module, if you have one. Hands on, bring machine. Supply list at store at registration.

Flying "Wicked " Witch - Diane Boone
This witch is wickedly charming, loaded with personality and is very easy to make! She can be a wall hanging or just fly around the room on her broomstick. Minimal sewing is required and a machine will be available for your use. This unique witch will add a special touch to your fall/Halloween celebrations. A kit will be available that includes all supplies needed for $6.00.

Skill Builders - Zippers - Kathie Dziurda
These are a series of 2-hour workshops designed to teach basic sewing and machine skills, with time for hands on practice. No project, no stress, we’ll just make samples, note our techniques and settings then save them for future reference in a binder.

Turning Twenty - Around the Block - Janet Inda
You will use focus blocks (embroidered, printed, photo transfer), and sash around them to make the large blocks. You will be using the book by the same name. There are few seams to match, so it will be a fun quilt to make.

Sew Club -
Our expert instructor led meetings are technique rich & project inspiring. Sew Club gatherings with our experienced instructors will inspire you to create and complete gifts and family treasures to be admired for years to come. One of the features our Sew Club members greatly enjoy is our optional "show and tell" portion of each club meeting. Members get to show what they’re working on, ask for ideas and suggestions or just be inspired by what the other members are doing .
As a Sew Club member, you will receive first chance sale privileges and a 10% discount on all purchases at club meetings and through-out the month. Sew Club card required at time of purchase. During each meeting, a door prize is awarded and information about upcoming sales and classes is presented.
Sew Club at Sew-n-Such will renew in June '07 and runs through May '08. Visit us for a free Sew Club Experience with a staff invitation or just drop in for a class for $10.00. Do you travel with your machine or take to class? We'll learn to make a cover uniquely shaped for your machine with a foam insert to protect it from bumps when it is being moved.
