Personal One-on-One - Janet Inda
Are you having trouble figuring out your machine or a pattern. Book a personal and you can have a 1½ hr. session to get you going. I can figure out most machines and patterns so you can leave enthused to go home and continue sewing.

Mystery Quilt - Margie Smith
Be daring, making your next quilt, sight unseen.  You will be given fabric requirements, preliminary cutting and sewing steps.  But you won’t know the pattern or the final appearance until you are finished.  I know you will like it but you just won’t know what you are making until the final step. “Mystery Snack” will be provided in class, and what could be more fun than sewing and eating with friends.

4 x 6 Inch Fabric Post Cards - Susie Simpson
Learn to make awesome post cards to send to friends and family using your creative ideas and scraps from your sewing room.  These post cards are a great way to show your creativity with decorative stitches created with your sewing/embroidery machine.  People who receive these special pieces of art will smile at your creativity and your thoughtfulness for years to come.   Knowledge of your machine and your decorative stitches will be helpful.

Magic with Margie – Margie Smith
Margie works Magic, and on Tuesdays also!  Since you have had one of her inspirational classes by now, either X-BLOCKS or Mystery Quilt, she is offering you special project support.  She will give you open-sew-support at the times listed on the calendar, for you to complete these class projects only.  This is not an instructor lead class, just an opportunity to come in and complete her class offerings and ask any questions you need, free of charge.  Support is what Sew-n-Such is about.  We are your “Creative Sewing Community!”

Beginning Sewing - Janet Inda
Have you ever wanted to learn to sew?? Well now is the time!! We will learn the fundamentals of sewing like how to read and use a pattern, why it’s important to add the notches, etc. In this 3 part series you will make a pair of pj bottoms. We will be using a Kwik Sew pattern and Nancy Ziemans’ Sewing with Confidence ( we have them at the store). The class id limited to 5 students so you can have individual attention. Class list is at the store.

Humbug Bag - Kathie Dziurda
Revisit this humble little bag in a new material.  It’s simple to make and fun to give as gifts. Changing the size, orientation, and proportion gives this bag an interesting twist.  Lining and zipper techniques will also be covered.

Sashiko Savvy – Diane Boone
See this traditional Japanese stitching technique demonstrated in 4 different ways: by hand, by sewing machine (using 2 different techniques) and by the new machine dedicated to Sashiko stitching.  Samples of each method will be shown and ideas will be presented for how to incorporate Sashiko stitching into your repertoire of sewing projects. This is a lecture/demo class; no supplies needed.
